Fox and Leo
Fox and Leo are loved throughout the world for their slimline glasses cases, offering spectacle-wearers a stylish, functional alternative to the classic bulky cases typically available. Using high quality leathers, owner Natalie Brake wanted to release a range of vegan leather cases to round out their offering.
We were commissioned to design a brand pattern for the vegan range - something minimal and stylish that would feature elements from their branding.
After exploring different ways we could use elements from the logo in various pattern arrangements, we landed on a monogram-style pattern utilising the ‘F’ and ‘L’.
As the project progressed, we felt that the pattern was lacking an element connecting the F and L. To address this, we designed a + symbol that ties in with the style of the logo lettering, and brought an extra layer of depth to the design.

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Jess on a patterned design for my slimline glasses case. From the outset, she was incredibly thorough and clearly communicated each step of the process. She presented some beautiful concepts and her approach made it easy to provide feedback. She took on board my requested changes and added her expertise to create a design I’m really happy with.
She was great to deal with and I would happily work with her again in the future. Highly recommended!"
